It was previously reported on December 2nd that Duffield, of Auckland Actors, had landed a role in Power Rangers Beast Morphers. 10 days later, it was confirmed that this was a voice role, however the name of the role was unknown.
It is now known through Duffield’s resume on StarNow, that he has lent his voice to the character, “Cycletron.”
A filming picture had surfaced online on October 8th during production of the first season of Beast Morphers. In that photo of Power Rangers Productions at the Victoria Skate Park, what looked to be the stunt double for the character of Blaze, on what fans found to be an in-unvierse cycle called an X-Bike.
Due to this filming photo, many fans believed that the monster from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, called “Tireloid” would be used. With the name “Cycletron,” that looks like it will be the case.
Also to note, with the name “Cycletron” being used for the season, as well as toy listings (found by @PowerRangerTalk) naming a toy as “Drilltron”, it is looking more likely that “Tronic” will be the name of the footsoldiers this season.
Power Rangers Beast Morphers is set to air in early 2019; Saturdays on Nickelodeon at 12pm ET / PT.
