First Look at Filming Power Rangers Beast Morphers

Production is in full swing of the 26th season of Power Rangers, in Auckland, New Zealand.

After the reveal of the cast at Power Morphicon, and the announcement from Hasbro of the supporting cast members, anticipation has been building to see the Beast Morphers in action – now we’ve got that chance. Production started on Sunday, September 22nd, and we’ve got our first look.

October 2nd, filming was spotted of the Red, Blue, and Yellow Beast Morpher Rangers (named Devon, Ravi, and Zoey), the foot soldiers, and our very first glimpse of a monster to be used in the show. Official names for these foot soldiers and the MOTD are not known at this time, but Sentai fans will be able to figure out which villain is being used.

Albert Park is one of many places that has been used numerous times over the years for multiple Power Rangers seasons, and will be used multiple times this year as well. Power Rangers Beast Morphers is set to film in New Zealand for the next 8 or so months – with a break around Christmas/the New Year.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers is set to air in early 2019 on Nickelodeon at 12pm ET.

The Power Rangers are going full on “beast mode” with its 26th season of Power Rangers Beast Morphers, which releases on Nickelodeon in 2019. Featuring an all-new cast of heroes and villains, Power Rangers Beast Morphers will expand the Power Rangers universe with tactical leather suits, ‘Beast Bot’ sidekicks and elevated battle footage.

Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called “Morph–X” with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team. The Rangers must fight off an evil sentient computer virus bent on taking over the source of all Ranger power, the Morphin Grid itself.
