In a surprise move from Hasbro, they have revealed who the supporting cast for Power Rangers Beast Morphers will be, joining the previously announced Rorrie Travis (Devon, the Red Ranger), Jasmeet Baduwalia (Ravi, the Blue Ranger), and Jackie Scislowski (Zoey, the Yellow Ranger) in New Zealand to film the 26th season.

(Note, they also confirmed the Red, Blue, and Yellow Rangers’s characters names – Jackie went on to further supply “Zoey’s” surname as Reeves).

Five new actors were announced to join the team: two who will be the comedic duo of the season as casting calls, one will be the rumored gold ranger of the season (Chip Lynn confirmed at Power Morphicon 2018 that the silver ranger will be a robot), and one is rumored to be playing a younger looking (12/13) year old character for the season. The first day of filming Power Rangers Beast Morphers was Sunday, September 22, 2018, and this season is contracted to film in Glen Eden – home of Studio West – until May 2018. A recent article in the New Zealand Herald also lists that Studio West will be home to this season until July 2019, giving time for post-production to be worked on the series. Also to note, if they do stay through July, this is the longest a Power Rangers series was set there.

The Power Rangers are going full on “beast mode” with its 26th season of Power Rangers Beast Morphers, which releases on Nickelodeon in 2019. Featuring an all-new cast of heroes and villains, Power Rangers Beast Morphers will expand the Power Rangers universe with tactical leather suits, ‘Beast Bot’ sidekicks and elevated battle footage.

Released at Toy Fair 2018, Power Rangers Beast Morphers is described as:

Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called “MorphX” with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team. The Rangers must fight off an evil sentient computer virus bent on taking over the source of all Ranger power, the Morphin Grid itself.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers will air on Nickelodeon in early 2019, with the Power Rangers toys from Hasbro appearing in April 2019. Power Rangers Beast Morphers will air on Nickeldeon at 12pm ET.
